2017 Holiday lust haves

I love December Holidays in South Africa, and the fact that we are fortunate enough to have the festive season during summer time makes me love it even more. I would like to share with you, my 2017 holiday lust haves for the festive season. {See the 2016 list}.

I will also be giving away 2 travelling cot pads to make travelling easier with the little ones, be sure to tell me what your summer holiday lust haves are for 2017 bellow this post.

So here are my 2017 holiday lust haves:

    1. Travel box by Poppet Post.

These boxes are perfect to keep your toddlers entertained on the plane or in the car! They are easy to pack & mess free. No more ‘Are we there yet?’. This box includes lacing and threading activities, a sticker book, a colouring book, crayons, a GALT ‘Magic Pictures’ book and a scratch art activity.

They also have amazing holiday boxes to keep kids entertained while on holiday – boxes available here from R349 per box. *Spot the LittleME product in the next monthly box.

    2. Pack bag by Lou Harvey.
We always look like we are moving house when we go on holiday but I have finally found the perfectly sized bag for a holiday, from now on anything that does not fit into your pack bag does not go with. Buy them here!
    3. A good nappy bag is not easy to find, and one that can double up as a backpack to use after baby even harder. Stonecamp leather has the perfect backpack for baby and that I think can be great for travel with or without a baby. Just check out the amazing colours and shop here.
    4. Pineapple sip cup from MRPHome
Ok, this just caught my eye and my kitch, quirky side just fell in love. Even if you stay at home during the holiday season and you have to sit in an inflatable pool to cool down, this will brighten up your day!
    5. The Cotton Company.
A Turkish towel is one of the hottest items this summer and it helps that these gorgeous towels just remind you of a lush island holiday. Shop here.
    6. Getting shade on the beach is not the most fun in my eyes especially if you are on a beach on the Cape coast where winds come from nowhere and a coastline where many a man ran after a tumbling umbrella on the beach. Newly launched Shades SA has an amazing alternative that can withstand these windy beach days. Check them out here.
    7. Protecting our children’s eyes are probably not high on everybody’s priority list, but it should be! The sun does so much damage to those little eyes, and the Real Kids Shades makes protecting those precious eyes so much easier. Shop online here. They have amazing styles and they are basically unbreakable, my kids have tested that theory.

Real Kids has been in the children’s sun protection business since 2002, we’ve made it our mission to protect as many children’s eyes as possible from the damaging effects of UV radiation. The mission is simple – offer affordable, premium sunglasses designed just for kids. The sunglasses are manufactured with the best materials available and they block 100% of the sun’s harmful rays. A variety of styles and colours are available in 4 different sizes to ensure optimum fit and protection.

    8. Beach Cart Explorer and silicone beach buckets.
The beach cart made it onto my list last year too, and just because we love it so much I wanted to add it in again. This year Little beach tribe has added silicone buckets and some other cool silicone products, and they are to die for. Get the heads turning on the beach by shopping here.

    9. Party gear!
We love throwing parties during the festive season, new years eve being my favourite party to prepare for. Shop some amazing party ware from Superbalist!

    10. Last year Wine pops were all the rage, but it just got better…….Gin & Tonic Pops are the perfect summer day accessory, don’t get caught without it!
    11. No sand beach mat – we all love the beach but the sand not so much! I’ve seen them on special online but they normally sell out within a day…
    12. Paddle board
I just had to sneak this into the list, I had so much fun trying to stay on this board on a recent holiday. I think once you can master it it is a great way to get some exercise in during your holiday time and it is deffos on my wish list this summer.
